This listing: Bucephalandra Tissue Culture (10+ plants!) Bunch

Description: Bucephalandra sp. are among the most popular plant species for the modern freshwater aquarium. These lovely and highly variable plants are native to Borneo; they can grow emersed and submerged, and their care is similar to Anubias plants in many respects. Bucephalandra require only low to moderate light, have a slow growth rate, and should be mounted to rocks or driftwood rather than buried in the substrate.

Size Ranges: Tissue Culture (multiple plants)

• Because we ship live aquatic plants, availability and condition can change quickly. Every order undergoes a careful quality inspection before it leaves our facility to ensure you receive healthy, vibrant plants. If any item does not meet our standards at the time of shipment, we will not send it. Instead, you’ll be promptly notified and fully refunded for that item.

• Quarantine: Live plants need to be quarantined before introducing to any new system such as an aquarium, pond or water feature. Unwanted pests and hitchhikers such as snails, larvae, eggs, can be common and to be expected, i.e. unless the plant is lab grown in-vitro (tissue culture). For most submersible plants, an additional step of a 1:20 ratio bleach-to-water plant-dip (leaves only, never dip roots) is recommended; direct message us if you need more detailed instructions for this step, or to check if your plant requires this added step. If you want to be sure your plant is 100% sterilized against unwanted pests or algae, please perform a quarantine and/or bleach dip; always wash and rinse plants before introducing them to any new environment.

• Photos are a sample representation of the given species, not the exact specimen you will receive. They can be slightly smaller or larger than advertised (in the listing description under 'Size Range'), but not by much. We do our best to select only the best specimens for shipment and take pride in our products and customer service. So please reach out if you have any questions! We're happy to help.
