This listing: Hydrocotyle Tripartita sp. Japan on 6*3 weighted coco fiber Mat

Description: Want a quick and easy way to get a lot of green in your foreground? Want to grow an amazing foreground carpet? Try the Plants on Mats by Florida Aquascaping! Featured in this listing is Hydrocotyle Tripartita on a coco fiber mat that is weighted so it sinks immediately to the bottom of your aquarium! Sink the mat into its desired location and then gently push it into the substrate (gravel, sand, pebbles, etc). The plant will then grow outwards from the original mat, and you can trim or let it grow out as desired.

Hydrocotyle Tripartita, with is unique clover-like leaves, is an easy plant to grow. It is a great plant for a freshwater community fish tank, and can be used strategically in more plant focused aquascapes where it adds visual interest in the foreground or midground. Hydrocotyle Tripartita is characterized by its clover-like leaves which can grow into compact bushes of green. Lower light will cause this plant to grow taller, whereas high light forces the plant to remain short and 'creep' along the substrate, forming a carpet.

Size Range: 6*3 Inch Mat

• Because we ship live aquatic plants, availability and condition can change quickly. Every order undergoes a careful quality inspection before it leaves our facility to ensure you receive healthy, vibrant plants. If any item does not meet our standards at the time of shipment, we will not send it. Instead, you’ll be promptly notified and fully refunded for that item.

• Quarantine: Live plants need to be quarantined before introducing to any new system such as an aquarium, pond or water feature. Unwanted pests and hitchhikers such as snails, larvae, eggs, can be common and to be expected, i.e. unless the plant is lab grown in-vitro (tissue culture). For most submersible plants, an additional step of a 1:20 ratio bleach-to-water plant-dip (leaves only, never dip roots) is recommended; direct message us if you need more detailed instructions for this step, or to check if your plant requires this added step. If you want to be sure your plant is 100% sterilized against unwanted pests or algae, please perform a quarantine and/or bleach dip; always wash and rinse plants before introducing them to any new environment.

• Photos are a sample representation of the given species, not the exact specimen you will receive.
